Journal’s Form

It’s an international science periodical online Journal, which is publishing in Russia. The articles are presented in Russian or English language, each text is mandatorily reviewed. The Journal issues 4 times per year. Its subject includes problems of ecosystems’ dynamic, processes and regularities of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems functioning, historical ecology, ecology and conservancy, environmental management and ecological modeling.

The Journal’s features are as follows: free access to the articles in the Internet, free and fast publishing for authors, possibility to publish any text (surveys, original research articles, theoretical and methodical works, discussions, short reports, reviews, information about the recent conferences, commentaries, methodical materials, generalized results of the researches in the specially protected natural reservations).

The advantage of publishing in this Journal is the ability to add materials of wide content, add a big amount of color illustrations and links of the active media products. The followings forms get the publishing priority: surveys, theoretical works, discussions, original interdisciplinary articles on the subject of ecology and ecosystems’ dynamics, historical ecology, conservancy and environmental management.

Reasons of creating the Journal

Today the worldwide science and politics communities show the deep interest towards natural ecosystems and their functions, which are vital for humanity supporting, such as climate’s and hydrological regime’s optimization, supporting of soil’s fertility, maximal possible biodiversity, high productivity etc. At the same time the biggest part of actual researches are confined on the subject of individual and specific problems of population, species and community ecology. The aim of this Journal is to present works about different types of ecology, so they can contribute to change the existing principles of interactions between human and nature. The Journal’s editorial consider its creating, which makes the science community focus on the complex researches of ecosystem organization of Earthly life, to be of great value not only for successful and complex development of ecology, but also for solving the actual practical problems of conservancy and stable environmental management.

Journal’s Aim

 To create an open stage for discussing the principal problems of the human and nature interactions’ ecological aftermaths; to make decisions, based on the synthesis of theoretical conceptions, ecology achievements, related disciplines, historical approach, conservancy experience and actual rational environmental management.

 Journal’s Goals

To help with

1) distribution of the modern ideas, approaches and methods of ecology and ecosystems’ dynamics research by publishing surveys, providing discussions and informing on the newest methods and the results of their usage;

2) development of complex assessment of the actual condition, course and rate of ecosystems, their complexes and individual components evolution, by synthesizing acknowledges of such fields as Earth sciences, biology, agriculture, forestry, traditional and actual experience of environmental management and conservancy;

3) utilization of the modern methods of research of ecology, ecosystems’ dynamics and their components to conserve and/or recover the natural features of the specially protected natural reservations, to organize environmental management, which is configured for the maximal possible implementation of the ecosystem functions of the biosphere;

4) introduction of the modern conceptions of the complex approach to ecosystems’ research into secondary and higher education to form an efficient and responsible attitude of the youth towards the problems of conservancy and recovery of the biosphere’s natural features, as it is the main term of humanity’s stable existence.
